I distinctly remember this wonderful photoshoot with the talented photographer…. “we yearn for opportunities, we pray for opportunities and we seek for opportunities. The good news is that we meet opportunities. The bad news is that we miss the opportunities only to come to a later realization of missed opportunities.”

Here are some of my thought process:

It's just the beginning, and as long as I continue to persist with my dreams and goals, I'll be able to achieve them.

Enjoy the journey and cherish the outcome.

Inspire other people along the way. I had such a difficult upbringing that I hope to use my experiences to help others.

It's happening. The thought of booking a one-way ticket and residing in Los Angeles is so insane to me. Before the day I fly out, I decided to schedule one last photoshoot in San Francisco. It was perfect timing when the photographer reached out to me because it allowed me to have the time to coordinate.

I took these pictures toward the end of 2018. As I look at these photos, I'm reminded of a huge pivotal point in my life that helped me evolve into becoming the person that I am today.
